For Those who have forgotten the Rauff Lala of the 2012 blockbuster Agneepath, Rishi Kapoor has taken a vow to refresh their memories by performing the role of Dawood in the upcoming movie D-Day. His  look and style seems to the replica of real Dawood.
Many people have liked the dialogue of Rishi Kapoor, “Karaachi band karaao” as shown in the trailer.

Further, the movie, which is set to appear on multiplexes this year, stars Irrfan Khan and Arjun Rampal.

The movies like Asambhav, Agent Vinod and Ek Tha Tiger have disappointed the Indian audience and allowed them to conclude that Indian cinema can’t emulate the standards set by the Mission: Impossible and James Bond series of spy thriller movies. I still remember that I was desperate to watch Ek Tha Tiger in the first week of the opening. But the movie disappointed me inasmuch as there was no story involving some mission.

But this should not be the conclusion. The Indian cinema has produced the classic movies like Aankhen and Charas (both starring Dharmendra). Further in the year 2002, 16 December was served as a good meal for spy thriller consumers. And later in 2009, Mukhbiir was a new ray of hope. However, 16th December and Mukhbiir could not do very good business at the box-office, but the story and acting has been much appreciated by viewers.

But this thirst for a good spy-action thriller was over in the year 2012, when Kahaani movie was released. This movie was in the race for nomination from India for Oscar. The story and acting of Vidya Balan was much appreciated.

Again, in 2013, a super-hit Tamil spy-action movie Vishwaroopam (also released as Vishwaroop in Hindi) has raised the expectations from the Indian cinema industry. So, what’s wrong in hoping that the Vishwaroopam 2 will sustain the expectations.
